Discipleship Training

Discipleship Training meets Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. after the Evening Worship Service. It is designed to be more indepth and targeted for the Christian's spiritual growth than our Sunday morning Bible studies.

One adult discipleship class, for example, is studying the book of Romans, studying each verse and chapter in detail. A second group is studying the entire Old Testament. A third group is using our dated Southern Baptist curriculum as their study guide. The first two groups have no particular curriculum source except their Bibles, but all three have the Bible as their text.

Some are smaller groups than many Sunday morning classes and attendees participate in most of the teaching/sharing time. It is more informal and fellowship times are enjoyed regularly as well. Learning takes place more as a participant than a listener to a lecture.

There is a place for additional Biblical study and instruction for serious Bible students for all ages in our Sunday night Discipleship Training program. Why not come and see? We'd love to have you join us.
